Site Name

The site creator, Dan Bowling, graduated from Northland College; therefore, he considers himself a northlander for life. It was not until after he had established the domain that he realized that northlander.com is another web design site. An unfortunate coincidence.

Design

The current design theme is called Lime Blue. It was created and sliced in Photoshop and the CSS and XHTML was hand coded. The limes in the design are used with permission of the photographer, Georgios M. W. The yellow one is a lime as well, not a lemon.

Typography

The title the site is set in Century Gothic, while the remaining text is set in helvetica.

This site is run by Modx CMS, a free open source CMS solution. Highly recomended for ease of use and the best templating system known to man.
