KeepVid Service Lets Users Download Video From Google, YourTube, and More
KeepVid, a new web based service, lets users download videos from services such as Google Video, YourTube, Break.com, and iFilm.
This new web app works by pasting teh URL of the video file you want into a form, and simply clicking download. Easy as pie. The only real drawback seems to be that many of the videos are downloaded in .flv formatt, which requires a special player (not Windows Media Player) to play them back. I recomend Video Lan Client, a great video playing software that handles .flv files, as long as almost anything else you can throw at it (like all those movies college students download off of kazaa).
