Feeds
What is RSS?
In short, RSS feeds take the hassle out of staying up-to-date on the websites you like to read, and can allow a single person to read updates on their favorite websites just like email, rather than going to them from your bookmarks indavidually. Read more about RSS.
How do I start using RSS feeds?
You need is something called a news reader. The news reader aggregates the RSS feeds for you, and lets you know when they are updated. I recomend the online one, Bloxor, otherwise you can see a list of feed readers here.
Once you have a reader, all you have to do is subscribe to the feed. With Bloxor, you copy the RSS feed URL, but with other feed readers, simply clicking on the RSS link will auto-load it into your news reader. Windows Vista, the next OS from Microsoft will include RSS support within the OS through Internet Explorer.
